terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to your valued purchase of a membership to the Nurturing Cowork Collective (known hereafter as the Cowork Collective) which is owned and operated by The Nurture Club.  By purchasing a Cowork Collective membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This is all typical stuff, we simply have to be official about it!

Accepting these T&Cs is a pre-requisite of becoming a valued member of the Nurturing Cowork Collective.

PRICE AND PAYMENT

The Cowork Collective membership is:
Founder: One month rolling contract – £20.00 per month or one year rolling contract – £220.00.

The first payment is due at the point of joining. Your membership fee will be automatically debited from your account on the day you sign up, and subsequently every month on the same date, or annually depending on which option you choose upon signing up.

Membership represents a minimum, initial period of one or twelve months depending on which option you choose. After the initial chosen number of months, membership will run on a rolling basis, automatically renewing on your chosen time period (every one or twelve months).

We reserve the right to review and adjust membership fees periodically. Any changes to membership fees will be communicated to members in writing [via email] at least 30 days prior to the proposed change taking effect. Members will have the option to accept the new fees or terminate their membership before the revised fees come into effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date of the fee change will constitute acceptance of the new membership fees.

If you wish to cancel your membership after the initial period, you will need to give us one month’s notice by writing to the email addresses at the bottom of this document. We sure will miss you though!

Discounted Memberships:
We may offer Memberships at a reduced cost to people who fulfil particular criteria from time to time (reduced-cost Memberships). We are not obliged or obligated to offer reduced-cost Memberships to any particular Member or for any particular period of time, and we may discontinue the availability of reduced-cost Memberships at any time and at our absolute discretion. A reduced-cost Membership is only available to the Member who it has been offered to, and it is non-transferable.‍

COMMUNICATION

By becoming a Cowork Collective member, you agree that you are happy to receive updates and promotions from The Nurture Club.

The Nurturing Cowork Collective asks members to respectfully acknowledge a Nurture Club source, if someone from our private groups produces or shares something which you then pass on (a sales promotion, a quote, a meme etc).  If you are unsure about sharing please do contact a member of the team.

‍We may change the Membership: to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; to implement minor technical adjustments and improvements; to add additional content, or remove content that is no longer relevant to the Membership. ‍

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Members must abide by the rules of participation in the group, which can be found below, on our private Facebook group or in your welcome email.

Any member who continuously and deliberately breaks these rules will sadly be removed from the membership group and group chat in order to sustain our safety and our community of compassion and respect.

CHEERLEAD YOURSELF AND OTHERS: The hope is that you practise celebrating and uplifting yourself and others in our safe, friendly online and IRL spaces so that you can go into the wider world and do the same. Ask for others to share your work and jollifications - no cringe needed!

BE CLEAR AND HONEST: When you post or share, consider whether you would you like advice, or other people to share their experiences, some specific support or just a space to share to let it out with no comments needed - feel free to say 'no advice needed, just sharing!' or similar. Clarity and honesty are key to life and our work so they’re key here too.

CREATE HARMONY BETWEEN YOUR SHARES AND RESPONSES: As a collective we are about mutuality, we share our own things and we also respect others and respond meaningfully where and when we can. The two-way street is in operation here ;)

KINDNESS AND COMPASSION ARE PARAMOUNT: You know this, but zero hate speech or bullying is accepted in Cowork Collective spaces. If something needs addressing, we will do so gently and promptly - whatever needs to be done to nurture and sustain the sense of safety in our space. Degrading comments about elements such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

BRING YOUR WHOLE SELF: This is no place of toxic positivity. In typical workplaces you have to hide your life, feelings, health issues etc. Not here - we’re building a place of truth and realness, as well as joy and uplift. Saying you feel crap can sometimes clear the way for you to find your power inside. If we feel you might need additional support, we will send a gentle DM to check in on you and signpost supportive things.

RESPECT EVERYONE’S PRIVACY: Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group. If there’s something you’d like to share more widely, feel free to ask those involved with thoughtfulness.

If members break these rules, it is at The Nurture Club's discretion to revoke membership or remove members. So unlikely! We don't want to be in a position where we have to do this, but respect and thoughtfulness is everything in our community.

PROVIDING THE MEMBERSHIP

We will supply the Membership to you until either the Membership is complete or the subscription expires (if applicable), you end the contract as described above, or we end the contract by written notice to you. We may use or rely upon third parties to facilitate our provision of the Membership.

We use Facebook Groups and WhatsApp as the primary online platforms on which the community will thrive where content will be shared between us and the community. Platforms may be adapted and changed in the future, which you will be kept informed of as stated previously.

You may be required to sign up to, create accounts with, provide personal information to or otherwise engage with some or any of these third parties in order to access and use the Membership. We may add, remove or otherwise change at any time and for any reason the third parties we use to facilitate our provision of the Membership, or any element of it. We are not responsible for these third parties, and please be aware that you engage with these third parties entirely at your own risk (this sounds scary, but legally we have to include this!).
